16. Baltimore Ravens

After an impressive victory in Week 1 over the Buffalo Bills, the Baltimore Ravens seemed to finally be coming around when looking at the improvements on the offensive side of the football following years of being known for their defense. And while that will most likely still end up being the case since John Harbaugh’s team appears to have a ton of potential, the Ravens hurt themselves for a poor start during Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Not only did Baltimore dig themselves a deep hole in the first half by trailing 21-0, but all three of those touchdowns happened to come by A.J. Green, who took full advantage of the team being short at the cornerback position. One can only imagine how different the end of this game would have been with a better start for the Ravens, but at least a single loss won’t defy the entire season for this team.

If all goes well, there’s every reason to believe Baltimore will be in the running for a playoff spot once the end of the regular season rolls around. Every win in the AFC North is going to be extremely important as usual for the Ravens, and let’s hope the team manages to win the second meeting to make them feel a little better about Week 2.
