2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 3: Eagles hope return of Carson Wentz brings spark

24. Seattle Seahawks
Between the team being on the decline over the last few years along with all of the players they moved on from in the offseason, the Seattle Seahawks showed early signs of going through a year of rebuilding, whether they wanted to admit it or not. After two games, the Seahawks continue to show they are one of the worst teams in the NFL when it comes to protecting their beloved quarterback in Russell Wilson, and it was on display Monday night.
One week after being the victim of six sacks in a loss to the Denver Broncos, Wilson was sacked six times once again when facing the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, and was forced to deal with constant pressure all evening. Wilson learned the hard way during the 2017 season there’s only so much he can do on his own without the support of his teammates, and at this rate, one can only imagine the high total of times he’s going to be sacked over the next few months.
For a team that always used to be a lock to at least earn a Wild Card spot, it’s crazy to think of Seattle as a team sitting at 0-2 before Week 3. And with another tough battle next weekend against a defense on the rise in the Dallas Cowboys, Wilson could be in for another long game.
