Here are four players on the Philadelphia Eagles that need to step up on offense for their Week 2 meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After doing just enough to hold off the Atlanta Falcons during their home opener, the Philadelphia Eagles hope the extra couple of days off will give them an advantage for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Originally, this matchup seemed to work to Philadelphia’s advantage since Tampa Bay would be playing without star quarterback Jameis Winston, but all of a sudden, that is no longer the case for the defending champions.

With Ryan Fitzpatrick torching the defense of the New Orleans Saints for 417 yards to go along with five touchdowns (one rushing), the Eagles realize the last thing they can afford to do is take a light approach to the veteran quarterback. But even if Philadelphia’s defense does their job by keeping Fitzpatrick in check for the most part like they did in Week 1 when facing Matt Ryan, the true difference maker will come down to the play on offense.

Even though Nick Foles was still able to help the Eagles escape with an 18-12 win over the Falcons in Week 1, the Super Bowl MVP will need a lot more help from his teammates on offense in this game against the Buccaneers if they’re going to have any chance at starting 2-0. As Philadelphia continues to find ways to get by without two of their top receivers in Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins, here are four players that need to step up on offense when taking on Tampa Bay to help make life easier for Foles under center.
