21. Houston Texans

Don’t be fooled by the final score of the game between the Houston Texans and New England Patriots since Bill O’Brien’s squad seemed to have one of those too little, too late kind of performances in Week 1. All eyes were on Deshaun Watson to see how the former Clemson star would look in his first game back after watching his rookie campaign cut short last season as a result of a torn ACL suffered in practice, and even though it was only one game, he has some work on his plate.

While the two turnovers on Watson’s end were frustrating to see, it was the fact that the Houston quarterback only completed 17 of 34 passes for 176 yards with a touchdown as well. Facing a team like the Patriots, the Texans knew they would need their beloved quarterback to be on top of his game, and even though the case can be made that he deserves some benefit of the doubt for this being his first game back, the team can’t afford another season like last year.

The AFC is loaded with playoff-caliber teams, and when looking at the talent Houston has to work with on both sides of the football, it would be a shame to see them miss out on a golden opportunity. To top it off, the Texans face another tough matchup on the road in Week 2 when they face a familiar face in the Tennessee Titans, meaning Watson will be heavily tested once again.
