3. Mack Hollins

One of the main highlights from the rookie season of Mack Hollins in 2017 was an impressive 64-yard touchdown catch recorded against the Washington Redskins in the fall, showing just how dangerous he can be in the open with his blazing speed. But when looking at all of the receivers Philadelphia had to work with in the passing game along with a stacked backfield, Hollins didn’t receive as many passes as he would have preferred to see as a rookie.

Then again, Hollins did come through on a few other big plays in games other than that impressive touchdown catch against the Redskins, and with Jeffery expected to miss the beginning of the year, this could result in the North Carolina product making more of an impact right away. After catching just 16 passes as a rookie, chances are Hollins will be able to top those numbers in the month of September alone if he can step up his game since the Eagles will need all of the extra help they can get on offense.

Getting some of that early experience as a rookie should work wonders for Hollins heading into his sophomore campaign, and it will be exciting to see how much of a difference he makes in the passing game when compared to last season. Similar to the situation with Goedert, Philadelphia never would have invested a fourth-round pick in 2017 on Hollins if they didn’t believe in his ability as a receiver, and now is the perfect time for him to show off his skills with an opportunity to be more involved.
