Here are five players that need to step up the most for the Philadelphia Eagles on offense with Alshon Jeffery expected to miss at least the first two games.

As the Philadelphia Eagles continue to prepare for beginning the process of defending their Super Bowl title, the team continues to be patient over certain individuals focusing on getting healthy, whether it involves Carson Wentz or Brandon Graham. However, Alshon Jeffery has been another one of those players with his status up in the air for Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, and it looks like the fear of the wideout being ready in time has become a reality.

This week, it was revealed that Jeffery would miss at least the first two games of the 2018 season, as he continues to recover from a torn rotator cuff injury after having surgery back in February. At the time, this was one of the biggest shocks surrounding the Super Bowl champions since Jeffery revealed he had played all of last year with the injury, showing just how tough of a player he was since one can only imagine how aggravating this was to deal with on a weekly basis.

Plus, one can only imagine how different the outcome of last season would have been for Philadelphia since the argument can be made that without Jeffery, there’s no way this team would have been able to go on and hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Only time will tell when it comes to seeing how this Eagles’ offense will adjust in the mean time without Jeffery since they don’t even know who the quarterback is going to be when facing the Falcons, but until the No. 1 wideout returns, here are five players that need to step up on offense.
