Philadelphia 76ers personality Christian Crosby is having the best year
Almost a decade into his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, in-arena host/ personality Christian Crosby is quietly becoming an overnight sensation.
If you’ve been to Philadelphia 76ers game over the last decade, you’ve seen Christian Crosby, whether you know him or not.
After initially joining up with the team as a member of the Sixers Dunk Squad, the collective of artists performing wild feats of wonder while vaulting off of trampolines during in-game commercial breaks, Crosby has steadily risen up the ranks in the organization to his current role as the team’s in-arena host, becoming a major part of why the Sixers are the best game in town.
Thanks in large part to his boundless energy and infectious charisma, Crosby often leaves fans at the Wells Fargo Center hanging on every word, as he shepherds his flock through an unforgettable night of Sixers basketball.

And so far, he’s having the best 2018 ever.
Outside of being the in-arena host for a three-seated playoff team, Crosby was also hand selected to host 2018 NBA All-Star Saturday Night, reuniting with his fellow South Philly favorite Joel Embiid.
But Crosby’s leap year didn’t end with the 2017-2018 NBA season.
No, Crosby continued his momentous climb to the top of the NBA’s ladder by also serving as the 2018 NBA Draft’s official host, an accomplishment he proudly shared with his 24k Twitter followers. Even as his hometown team flipped another native Philadelphian to Phoenix for a pair of picks, Crosby kept things professional and delivered the goods to a passionate collection of fans around the nation at New York’s famous Barclays Center.
Cool, calm and collected in Crosby’s game.
Outside of the basketball world (well kind of), Crosby’s brain trust company ‘live life nice.’ partnered up with the Sixers and their newly former Innovation Lab to take his message of positivity to a wider audience. Having already found fans all over the professional sports world, including Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and ex-Sixer Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, live life nice is just starting to crack the surface of its potential as a legitimate streetwear brand with its heart in the right place.
But for Crosby, it all comes back to basketball.
Once again serving in his now trademark role as the team’s effective brand ambassador, Crosby and company took their show on the road and brought Sixers basketball to the Jersey Shore, taking part in a week-long Summer Shore Tour up and down the coast alongside newcomers Landry Shamet, and Jonah Bolden, as well as all-time great Julius Erving, who just so happened to perform an impromptu ‘shot dance’ for a crowd of eager fans.
And the best part? The 2018-2019 basketball season is just around the corner, and the Sixers look like they’ll be pretty darn good once again.
So, the next time you go to the Wells Fargo Center to root for your favorite team, keep an eye out for in-arena host Christian Crosby, and maybe take a minute to check out his company’s website and pick up a cool white and red ‘nice’ hat.
If not, you could always catch him hosting Going Numb, the Ice Bath Gameshow on YouTube presented by Champs Sports. It’s incredibly funny.
