26. Cincinnati Bengals

Will 2018 finally be the year in which the Cincinnati Bengals return to the playoffs after missing out in each of the last two seasons? Keep in mind that before their drought, the Bengals were considered one of the top teams in the AFC thanks to making the playoffs five years in a row, although they didn’t win a single one.

Most head coaches with a resume like Marvin Lewis would have been sent packing a long time ago, but for some reason Cincinnati continues to reward him with opportunities he arguably doesn’t deserve. And even though the Bengals’ offense seems to have taken a major leap this preseason when looking at their first two games, the important task is playing this well when it matters the most during the regular season.

Andy Dalton and A.J. Green once again have the opportunity to show the rest of the NFL they’re capable of being one of the most dynamic duos on offense. Heading into their third meeting of the preseason against the Buffalo Bills, if Cincinnati puts together another impressive outing on offense, it’s safe to say they will deserve to be higher on this list around this time next week before their preseason finale.
