2018 NFL Power Rankings: Eagles no longer on top after Week 2 of preseason

29. Indianapolis Colts
How far the Indianapolis Colts go in 2018 will simply come down to the play by Andrew Luck at quarterback, and whether or not he manages to stay healthy enough after missing all of last season with a shoulder injury. Originally, the Colts were hoping Luck would only be out for the beginning of 2017, but as football fans know, that was far from the case after he failed to appear in a single game.
Clearly, Luck’s shoulder was a bigger issue than originally expected, and even though it may take some time for him to return to his normal ways, just the fact that he’s playing in preseason is an amazing sign. When healthy and on top of his game, Luck has proven to be capable of being one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in all of football.
Completing just 6 of 9 passes for 64 yards during the team’s first action of preseason against the Seattle Seahawks may not be worthy of bragging about, but Indianapolis knows patience is key. If Luck plays well on Monday against the Baltimore Ravens, it will make the Colts feel even better about the potential surrounding their quarterback returning to his usual ways during the 2018 season.
