2018 NFL Power Rankings: Eagles no longer on top after Week 2 of preseason

14. Denver Broncos
Missing out on the playoffs in each of the last two seasons has been beyond frustrating for the Denver Broncos since the defense came through on their end for the most part while the offense struggled to put up the necessary points. Ever since Peyton Manning called it a career, the Broncos learned the hard way that players like Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian weren’t the answer, but all of that will hopefully change with Case Keenum in the mix.
All of a sudden, Denver appears to have the reliable quarterback to run the offense to give this team a much better chance of reaching the playoffs in 2018, although it’s always easier said than done. With Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to work with in the passing game, Keenum should have a much easier time adjusting on his new team.
Preseason may not be turning out the way the Broncos were hoping for in the win department, but at least it’s given the team a chance to realize that Paxton Lynch isn’t cut for the team. With the emergence of Chad Kelly, at least Denver can feel better about possibly moving on from Lynch since they have a new solid backup to Keenum.
