23. New York Giants

Watching the New York Giants go from an early favorite to make a run at the Super Bowl heading into the 2017 season before going on to win just three games was one of the biggest surprises in the NFL, but at least it led to the firing of Ben McAdoo. Not to mention, since the Giants finished 2017 with a 3-13 record, the team was able to secure the second overall pick in this year’s draft, and land arguably the best running back from the class in Saquon Barkley.

Take this into consideration that Eli Manning already had one of the league’s most dangerous receivers in Odell Beckham Jr. to work with, Pat Shurmer is loaded with talent to make this unit one of the best in the league. But before that happens, the Giants head coach needs to continue taking the cautious approach over his rookie running back to make sure Barkley is healthy enough to play Week 1.

Due to a hamstring injury, New York has been patiently waiting to see when Barkley is going to be healthy enough to return to practice, but the last thing they want to do is rush him back before he’s ready. As long as Barkley’s good to go for Week 1, that’s all that matters the most for the Giants.
