29. Miami Dolphins

One year after emerging as a surprise playoff contender in the AFC, the Miami Dolphins were hoping to pick up where they left off in 2017 with Jay Cutler under center since Ryan Tannehill was lost for the season early on. Unfortunately, that was far from the case after Cutler’s inconsistency along with a few other disappointing factors resulted in the Dolphins coming up way short of the playoffs after going 6-10.

This time around, Cutler is no longer in the picture after Miami decided it would be best not to waste their money again while Tannehill looks to prove he can in fact stay healthy, and deserves to be the quarterback beyond 2018. However, the best thing Tannehill can do is approach the season one game at a time since, as mentioned before, staying healthy is going to be the biggest concern from the Dolphins over their quarterback.

Otherwise, Tannehill may end up having to find a new team during the 2019 offseason if Miami decides he’s no longer worth keeping around after all these years. But on a positive note, at least Tannehill seems motivated more than ever based off what fans have seen over the last few months, which is great news for Miami as a team.
