2. New England Patriots

Don’t act all surprised to see the Patriots this high on the list since everyone knows that as long as Tom Brady is still playing, this team is always going to be a heavy Super Bowl favorite at the start of each season. The fact that Brady is in his 40’s and coming off another MVP season shows just how special of a player he truly is, and the scary factor is he still seems capable of playing for another few years.

Not even the absence of Julian Edelman at the beginning of the season will prevent Brady from putting up big numbers since he always makes the players around him better, meaning someone is bound to step up at receiver. Also, it’s safe to say that losing to Philadelphia the way they did left a bad taste in the mouths of Brady and the rest of his New England teammates, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all of this team played with a little extra motivation in 2018.

It’s crazy to see how dominant the Patriots have been over the years as a top contender in the AFC, and that’s obviously not going to change anytime soon. Clearly, this is one of the greatest teams of all time for a reason, and if New England were to find a way to face Philadelphia again in the Super Bowl for a rematch, football fans would certainly enjoy watching again.
