4. Minnesota Vikings

Losing to the Eagles in the NFC Championship the way they did was beyond embarrassing for the Vikings since Mike Zimmer’s team seemed to have a favorable path to playing in their own stadium for the Super Bowl. But on a positive note, at least the team ended up winning the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes this offseason to give them an even better chance of making a run at the Super Bowl.

With all due respect towards Keenum since he did an amazing job stepping up for Minnesota last year when Bradford went down, he’s nowhere near the level of Cousins. And when seeing the effective weapons Cousins gets to work with led by Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, the sky seems to be the limit for the Vikings in 2018.

As mentioned before, one can only imagine how difficult these last few months have been for Minnesota wondering what could have been after falling shy of the chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in their own stadium. They may not get the opportunity to play in Minnesota for the next Super Bowl, but if they win, that’s all that would matter for Cousins and the Vikings after coming up just short.
