2018 NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles begin preseason on top

5. Pittsburgh Steelers
Sooner or later, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to face the difficult decision over whether they want to reward Le’Veon Bell with a hefty contract he’s been fighting for since using the franchise tag for a third year in a row simply isn’t going to cut it. Bell hasn’t been shy over expressing his frustration towards the situation, but maybe seeing the Los Angeles Rams reward Todd Gurley with a hefty new deal a few weeks ago will convince the Steelers to change their minds.
If not, well let’s just say it’s going to be interesting to se what the future holds for Bell in Pittsburgh since they seem confident enough in being just fine without him, as they should. Outside of Bell, it’s no secret the Steelers are loaded with talent on offense with dynamic players for Ben Roethlisberger to work with like Antonio Brown.
Brown’s hip flexor may seem like a concern at the moment, but at least Pittsburgh is being cautious over the situation since they know how much of a difference maker their offense can be when he’s healthy. If Brown doesn’t play at all in the preseason, this obviously wouldn’t be the end of the world for the Steelers.
