6. Atlanta Falcons

All the Atlanta Falcons wanted was another shot at winning the Super Bowl after ending up on the wrong side of history in 2017 with their epic collapse to the Patriots after blowing a 28-3 lead late in the second half. The only way the Falcons will ever get over that game is if they finally win the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history, which as everyone knows is always easier said than done.

Does this mean Atlanta will become the first team to play in their own stadium for the Super Bowl this upcoming season? Only time will tell for the Falcons, but when looking at how talented this team is on both sides of the football, they actually have a legitimate chance of making this dream become a reality.

While football fans are well aware of how deadly Matt Ryan and Julio Jones can be on offense, Atlanta’s young defense seems to be getting better with experience, and did limit the Eagles to just 15 points in the Divisional Round of the playoffs last January. In other words, don’t sleep on the Falcons in the NFC since this team has the potential to be just as dangerous as the rest of the contenders.
