9. New Orleans Saints

Hope seemed lost early on for the New Orleans Saints when they lost their first two games of 2017 before turning things around real fast by going on to win the next eight to make a statement about being a top team to beat in the NFC. One can only imagine how these last few months have felt for the NFC South champions when it comes to wondering what could have been in the Divisional Round after that heartbreaking loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but they can’t look back.

Plus, no matter what Alvin Kamara has to say about the situation, there’s a good chance New Orleans would have gone on to lose the NFC Championship when looking at the high amount of confidence Philadelphia was playing with. Speaking of Kamara, how about the Saints earning one of the biggest steals from last year’s draft when looking at the quick impact he made on offense?

Kamara is one of those special players that can be dangerous in multiple ways on offense, and now that he’s got a year of experience under his belt, expectations are high for his second season. Also, with Mark Ingram missing the first couple of games as a result of a suspension, New Orleans will rely on Kamara even more at the beginning of the season.
