2018 NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles begin preseason on top

12. Tennessee Titans
Do the Tennessee Titans have what it takes to make another serious run in the AFC like last season? As impressive as it was to see this team pull off an upset against the Chiefs on the road last January in the playoffs, the Titans received a big wakeup call the following week against the Patriots in the Divisional Round.
Experience wise, Tennessee didn’t even come close to New England, but at least Marcus Mariota and company can use what took place as a learning experience to improve in 2018. Not to mention, when it came to the biggest winners of the offseason, the Titans ranked near the top of the list when looking at some of the key additions made on both sides of the football.
Handling the pressure of making a playoff push for a second year in a row isn’t going to be easy, and if Tennessee is going to have any chance of making this happen, Mariota is going to need to put up better numbers than last season. The fact that Mariota finished the regular season with more interceptions (15) than touchdowns (13) shows how rough it was for the former Oregon quarterback at times, but also the past is the past, meaning there’s no reason to look back.
