17. Oakland Raiders

Will the Oakland Raiders miss having Jack Del Rio around as head coach? Well, if Jon Gruden lives up to his usual ways of being a quarterback mastermind to help Derek Carr return to playing at a MVP level, the answer to that is going to be, no.

Parting ways with Del Rio was a tough decision when looking at how much the players loved him, but also when seeing the results of last season in which the Raiders went from strong Super Bowl contenders to complete busts, it was the right move. In fact, many believed Oakland would end up being the team that would take down the New England Patriots, which obviously wasn’t the case since they would go on to win the AFC.

With weapons like Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson to work with at receiver along with Marshawn Lynch in the backfield, the Raiders have done everything in their power to help Carr succeed. So if he does end up coming through as expected, Oakland may be able to make another run at the playoffs for the second time in three seasons to help make up for the disappointing results of last year in which they won just six games.
