2018 NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles begin preseason on top

20. Baltimore Ravens
Entering Week 17 last season, the Baltimore Ravens had a 97 percent chance of making the playoffs, and had an easy ticket to punch in as long as they beat the Bengals at home, which unfortunately failed to happen. One can only imagine how the Ravens have felt over the last couple of months wondering what could have been, but all that matters moving forward is they rebound in 2018.
Football fans are well aware of the fact that Baltimore has a reputation for having one of the league’s top defensive units, but if this team truly wants to make an impact in 2018, the offense will need to step up. The debate will always continue over whether Joe Flacco deserves to be in the elite quarterback category, but at least the former Super Bowl MVP has an improved receiving corps.
Landing Michael Crabtree following his release from the Oakland Raiders ended up being quite the surprise for the Ravens since they were still in search of improving their receiving corps before he came on board. If Crabtree can live up to expectations, Flacco is going to be quite happy running the Ravens’ offense. And who knows, maybe Baltimore will put an end to their three-year playoff drought as well.
