2. Malcolm Jenkins

Without question, Cox has been one of the main contributors for the Eagles’ defense throughout his career, and seeing him return for the 2018 season brings plenty of excitement to the table. But when it comes to the top leaders of Philadelphia’s unit, it’s difficult to top the level of impact that Malcolm Jenkins makes, both on and off the field.

Jenkins was one of those rare players that was fortunate enough to win a Super Bowl right away as a rookie after the safety helped earn a title back during the 2009 season when he was a member of the New Orleans Saints. Since the end of the 2008 season, the Eagles had struggled for the most part to find consistency at the safety position, but all of that changed in 2014 when Jenkins came on board through free agency.

The fact that Jenkins has started every game for Philadelphia ever since shows what kind of special talent he is at the position, and seeing him earn that second Super Bowl ring back in the winer was well deserving. If Jenkins can add ring No. 3 to his resume, it will give him an even better shot at Canton when the time comes.
