Philadelphia Eagles receive amazing display in Pro Football Hall of Fame for Super Bowl
By Dan Parzych
Philadelphia Eagles fans will love the display in Canton for the team’s epic Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots in February.
For the first time in franchise history, the Philadelphia Eagles will enter the 2018 season as defending Super Bowl champions, and if football fans end up being annoyed over everyone still talking about it after all these months, well that’s their problem.
Watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl despite numerous key injuries such as Carson Wentz and Jason Peters was truly amazing, but also shows just how much depth this team had on the roster. And even though there’s some uncertainty for some players like Wentz and Brandon Graham being ready to go Week 1, it’s safe to say Doug Pederson will have his team ready.
Before the Eagles know it, that first game against the Atlanta Falcons will be here since it’s crazy to think that training camp is already underway after months of anticipation. But before jumping too far ahead, Philadelphia still has another reason to celebrate their Super Bowl victory after seeing the new display in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Without question, the Philly Special will go down as one of the top players in Super Bowl history when looking at how gutsy of a call it was during a fourth-down play.
Thanks to the folks at Canton, Eagles fans can enjoy what is most likely their new favorite display.
Foles catching that epic pass from Trey Burton after receiving the football from Corey Clement is a highlight that Philadelphia fans will remember for the rest of their lives, and it’s crazy to see the Philly Special continue to be a popular topic of discussion after all these months.
Even if Foles never plays another snap during the regular season, the Super Bowl MVP will go down as one of the most popular Eagles of all time since he was able to do what no other quarterback in franchise history had done by bringing the Lombardi Trophy to Philadelphia.
In a way, Philadelphia has the best quarterback situation in the NFL since they have two starters between Wentz and Foles. Despite everything from last season, Foles knows deep down this is Wentz’s team, and seeing him acknowledge his role shows just how unselfish of a player he truly is, which Eagles fans absolutely love.
