Here are five storylines to keep an eye on for the Philadelphia Eagles heading into training camp.

After months of waiting, the Philadelphia Eagles will finally begin their first day of training camp on Thursday, as they look to defend their Super Bowl title from last season, which is still amazing to think about after all this time. All hope seemed lost for the Eagles towards the end of last year when Carson Wentz suffered a season-ending injury, but luckily Doug Pederson was able to keep his players focused to put together what turned out to be an epic Super Bowl run.

Now, all eyes will be on Philadelphia heading into training camp to see if they have what it takes to repeat as champions, which is always easier said than done since they have a ton of obstacles standing in their way. At this moment in July, the Eagles are already considered one of the early favorites to be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for a second year in a row, but when looking at some of the other competition across the league, it’s not all going to be smooth sailing for the defending champions.
