Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles finished with two of the highest game grades from the 2017 season.

Even though Carson Wentz appears to be on schedule to start off 2018 as the starter under center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Foles continues to receive heavy praise for his accomplishments from this past season.

Originally, all hope seemed lost for the Eagles when Wentz down with a torn ACL in the middle of December, but luckily it was Foles that stepped up in a big way when needed the most after going on an epic run in the playoffs.

His playoff performance against the Atlanta Falcons may have only been decent, but Foles certainly came through when Philadelphia needed him the most in the NFC Championship and Super Bowl.

In fact, the two epic performances put together by Foles were great enough to earn him PFF honors when it comes to the highest game grades by a quarterback from this past season, which just adds to the epic list of accomplishments. for the Super Bowl MVP.

Finishing in the top spot ahead of Tom Brady certainly would have been impressive, but Foles still has plenty of reasons to be thrilled over finishing in third and fourth on the list. As mentioned, the confidence for Foles wasn’t too high heading into the playoffs when looking at some of his struggles towards the regular season, but Doug Pederson certainly deserves a ton of credit for helping make the necessary adjustments.

Without Foles, there’s a good chance Philadelphia and their fans would be heading into the 2018 season still in search of that first Super Bowl title instead of experiencing the new feeling of being defending champions.

Only time will tell when it comes to whether Foles will see any action during the 2018 season since there’s no guarantee at the moment that Wentz will be 100 percent ready for Week 1 against the Falcons.
