Sixers playoff hype video with Will Smith, other celebrities will give fans chills

As the Sixers prepare for their upcoming playoff series against the Boston Celtics, Will Smith decided to team up with a few local celebrities for one amazing hype video.

In a matter of hours, the Sixers will get their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Boston Celtics underway, as the team looks to continue playing at a high level following a big 4-1 series win over the Miami Heat during the previous round. Despite all of the concerns surrounding this team, and their lack of playoff experience, Philadelphia seems to have picked up right where they left off from the end of the regular season when it comes to looking like one of the hottest teams in the NBA.

The Heat certainly didn’t make it easy for them at times with their toughness and physical style of play, but watching the Sixers win the way they did shows just how special of a team Brett Brown is fortunate enough to work with. Even if Boston won three of the four meetings between these two teams during the regular season, the playoffs are a whole new ball game, and Philadelphia has to love their chances heading into Game 1.

Philadelphia fans have been waiting for a moment like this for a long time after all of the years spent watching this team go through rebuilding mode to be in this current position. In fact, if there are any basketball fans doubting how fired up Sixers fans are at the moment for their team in the playoffs, just take a look at this playoff hype together that features Will Smith along with a few other celebrities, and those opinions will quickly change.

All things considered, it’s amazing to see a team like the Sixers finally have this kind of hype in the playoffs, and even though the Celtics are the higher seed, Brown knows his squad is capable of pulling off the upset to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Not to mention, Philadelphia has a few advantages working to their favor ranging from extra rest to Boston dealing with a few key injuries, so it will be interesting to see how this series plays out.

Either way, the Sixers are going to enjoy every second of what should be an epic series against the Celtics, as this will be another big test when it comes to proving themselves as a serious contender in the NBA. With Game 1 getting underway on Monday, one can only imagine how many times Philadelphia fans will watch that playoff hype video before tipoff to help their excitement hit a whole new level for the upcoming battle against Boston.
