With free agency officially underway, let’s take a look at another 2018 NFL Mock Draft, with the Philadelphia Eagles going with Rashaan Evans at linebacker.

In order to prepare for next season, the Philadelphia Eagles have been quite busy since the start of free agency, as the Super Bowl champions had to make all sorts of moves, both good and tough, to cut down their salary cap. As for what some of these moves mean for the team in the latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft, well let’s just say the Eagles continue to focus on the area many expect them to in the first round at linebacker.

While Philadelphia obtained one of their top goals of free agency by rewarding Nigel Bradham to a new five-year deal, Doug Pederson and company will still look to improve the linebacker position once the end of April arrives. And when looking at the kind of impact Alabama’s Rashaan Evans could bring to the table along with the history of Nick Saban‘s players succeeding in the NFL, this almost seems like too good of a fit.

The Eagles already loaded up even more on the defensive line after acquiring Michael Bennett against the Seattle Seahawks, and if they continue making the necessary moves with more weapons on defense, this unit is going to be difficult for opponents to face once again in 2018. But before getting into more details on Philadelphia’s plans, let’s take a look at what to expect from the other teams in the latest NFL Mock Draft now that free agency is officially underway.
