The victory tour has been going strong for the Philadelphia Eagles all week after shocking the world yet again by taking down the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII to claim their first title in franchise history. Everybody felt confident enough in the Eagles having what it takes to defeat the Patriots when looking at how much Doug Pederson‘s squad had been thriving in the underdog role throughout the playoffs, but it still doesn’t seem real.

Around this time last offseason, Philadelphia seemed like a team with potential after finishing with a 7-9 record during the 2016 season, but seeing them emerge as one of the top teams to beat in the NFC came out of nowhere. Not only was Smith considered an experienced veteran with a Super Bowl win on his resume from his time with the Baltimore Ravens, but the speedy wideout would provide the passing game with a reliable deep threat for Philadelphia to work with.
