Between the Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl LII and getting engaged, Carson Wentz has plenty to celebrate this week.

Even though he wasn’t physically on the field, the Philadelphia Eagles fully understand they wouldn’t have been able to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history if it wasn’t for Carson Wentz this season. Prior to suffering a torn ACL, Wentz seemed to be the favorite to win the MVP award, and rightfully so when looking at the impressive numbers he had put together during his sophomore campaign.

Losing Wentz when they did was a crushing blow for the Eagles’ offense, but also if it wasn’t for the former first-round pick fully supporting Nick Foles over the last month or so along with providing him the necessary guidance to succeed, chances are Philadelphia wouldn’t have been hoisting that Lombardi Trophy. And even though football fans and analysts want to discuss a potential quarterback controversy in the City of Brotherly Love, everybody knows Wentz will always be the main leader of this team on offense, no matter what.

The fact that Wentz is fortunate enough to earn a Super Bowl ring this early in his career has to be one of the most amazing feelings in the world. Better yet, it looks like Wentz isn’t the only one getting a ring this week after the Eagles quarterback decided to propose to the love of his life, Maddie.

Words can’t describe how happy Philadelphia fans are for Wentz since the quarterback is clearly having the best week of his life between the news of his engagement along with helping bring the city their first Super Bowl title. Wentz has always been one of those players who are never shy about expressing how thankful he is over the people and accomplishments in his life, so seeing this announcement is just simply awesome.

It’s not even the middle of February, and Wentz is already having one heck of a 2018 when looking at all of the excitement taking place. From Eagles fans across the country, a big congratulations goes out to Wentz and his soon to be wife Maddie! And if all goes well over the next few years, there will be more rings to come in the future as a result from more Super Bowl wins from Wentz and company.
