Philadelphia Eagles: 3 keys to victory over Seahawks in Week 13
By Jake Starr
Prediction
As of Thursday night, the Eagles were six-point favorites over the Seahawks. This is the first time in a long time that a road team is favored against the Seahawks. Over the past five years, coming into Seattle and winning as a road team is a near impossible feat. But, the six-point line obviously shows the respect the Eagles have garnered sitting at 10-1.
Also contributing to the Eagles being such heavy favorites is the banged up Seattle defense, who will be tasked with trying to stop this Philadelphia offense that puts up over 31 points per game. Add into that the Eagles defensive line should have a big day against the Seahawks porous offensive line, and Philadelphia should have a big day on both sides of the ball.
Prior to this season, many had this game chalked up as a loss. No one though Wentz, in just his second season, could go into Seattle and pull out a win. But 11 games into the season, the narrative on that has been changed entirely, as many have the Eagles winning this game now.
On paper, the Eagles are the better team. They have the advantage in the passing game, and in the trenches on defense. But obviously, games are not played, nor won, on paper.
In addition to having one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL, the other thing Seattle has going for them is they have a sleeper MVP candidate in Wilson. As bad as their line has been and as nonexistent as their running game has been, Wilson continues to find ways to get the job done, never complaining about the constant duress he is put under.
As long as the Seahawks have Wilson at the helm, they have a shot and are always a threat. For the Eagles to win this game, they must not let Wilson play at the elite level he plays at on a weekly basis.
The Eagles have many huge advantages across the board in this game and have shown to be one of the best and most explosive teams in the NFL. While they should be able to win this game convincingly, playing in Seattle and Wilson will factor in keeping it close.

This will be one of the best games of the year with an elite Eagles team and a desperate Seattle team, but at the end, the Eagles` talent will prevail here as they pull out a victory in one of the best games across the NFL this year to move to 11-1.
