The Philadelphia Eagles will look to improve to 10-1 when they take on the Bears this Sunday. Continue on for three keys to an Eagles win and predictions!

The Philadelphia Eagles are getting set to welcome the Chicago Bears to Lincoln Financial Field this Sunday in a game that matches up two teams with different goals in mind. The Eagles have goals of a deep playoff run, whereas Chicago is simply looking to finish out the season seeing improvements in rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky.

These two teams last met in Week 2 of last season, in a game where the Eagles topped the Bears 29-14 at Soldier Field in Carson Wentz’s second career start. The last time the Bears traveled to Philadelphia was way back in 2013 when Nick Foles and the Eagles crushed the Bears by a score of 54-11 as the Eagles were just weeks away from playing in their most recent playoff game.

Watching Trubisky will remind Eagles fans of what it was like having a rookie quarterback at the helm. It sometimes gets hard to forget that Wentz is still only in his second season in midnight green, given how well he has played so far this year. At this point last year, Carson was definitely ahead of where Trubisky is now, but the Eagles still went through many of the growing pains the Bears are going through right now with Trubisky.

As many expect, the Eagles are heavily favored in this game; opening up as 13.5 -point favorites. But, having this game sandwiched between two Sunday night games, one in Dallas and next week in Seattle, the Eagles must remain focused on this game and not look ahead to the tough stretch of games that lie ahead.

So, where can the Eagles take advantage of a struggling Chicago team en route to their tenth victory of the season? Continue on for three keys to an Eagles win, plus this authors’ expert prediction!
