1. Spread the ball on offense

Another key reason why the Eagles’ offense has been so good this season is that they have so many playmakers. This, in turn, allows Wentz to throw the ball to many different receivers and take whatever the defense is giving him.

Even though Carson has a true No. 1 receiver in Jeffery, Wentz has shown throughout the season that he will not heavily target one receiver over the others, preventing the quarterback from forcing more throws.

Whether it be Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins or Zach Ertz, they have each showed the ability to step up and make plays when the ball comes their way. That has been the most beautiful thing about this offense, as it is not centered around one particular player, and focuses on what the defense is giving them to work with as a unit.

On Sunday, the Eagles should look to continue this trend. The Dallas defense is not great, but they have most certainly played above expectations this season. Although, the possible absence of Sean Lee will really handcuff them defensively.

Regardless of whether or not Lee plays, the Eagles must continue to attack teams the same way they have all year. Just take what the defense gives them and get everyone involved. If Jeffery is shut down, then look to Ertz. If Ertz is shut down, look elsewhere. The Eagles’ offense is so good that even if you take away their “best” player, they still have the talent to beat you elsewhere.

Frankly, as long as Wentz is leading the charge at quarterback they should be in very good shape in any given game.

If the Eagles can have success on offense and put points up early, that will be huge in forcing Prescott to play from behind and throw the ball more than Dallas would like him to.
