The 8-1 Philadelphia Eagles conclude a two-week layoff by heading into Dallas looking to gain even more of a lead in the NFC East.

As much as the bye week stinks for the fans, it could not have come at a better time for the Philadelphia Eagles. Two weeks without Eagles football is rough, especially with how they are rolling right now. But this time off has given them time to heal some wounds and rejuvenate for a tough stretch run.

That stretch run begins this Sunday night when the Eagles travel down to the “Lone Star State” for a matchup with the Ezekiel Elliott-less Dallas Cowboys. This matchup is huge for both teams; as Dallas is reeling and needs a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive, while the Eagles are looking to go up four games in the division.

A win on Sunday could all but wrap up the NFC East, putting the Eagles four games up with only six to play.

As we know the Eagles are coming off of a huge 51-23 win over Denver; completely dismantling their top defense.

Dallas, on the other hand, is coming off a 27-7 loss to Atlanta last Sunday. In that game, Dak Prescott was sacked a whopping eight times.

To have any chance in the division, Dallas must win on Sunday; and frankly, a loss on Sunday would drop them to 5-5 and make even a Wild Card berth a hard feat.

The Eagles must not have a post-bye let down and must capitalize on the opportunity to put a huge dagger in Dallas` season.

How can they do that, and will they do that? Continue on for three keys to an Eagles victory plus this author’s expert prediction!
