Heading into the 2017 offseason the Phillies are pretty set on their lineup for the upcoming season. But something they can look to improve on is the arms they have in the rotation.

In the 2017 season, the Phillies only had one player qualify for the ERA leaderboard, Aaron Nola, and only finished with four pitchers with more than 100 innings, and one them was traded at the trade deadline.

For the 2018 season getting other arms who can eat innings and not be negatives for the season should be the top priority for Matt Klentak.

There are a couple of top of the line rotation pieces like Yu Darvish and Jake Arietta that will command mega-deals, but it seems like the Phillies won’t be breaking the bank this offseason. So here is a list of some of the lesser free agents the Phillies can bring in to help Aaron Nola for 2018.
