The NFL Draft is less than three weeks away and it seems like everyone and their mother has a theory on what the Philadelphia Eagles should do with the fourteenth overall pick. Not many people are talking about the seven other selections the Birds will make.

There is one glaring need that the Eagles need to address in this year’s draft: cornerback. It’s like beating a dead horse but it’s something that needs to be talked about. The three highest ranked corners most likely to be on the board when the Eagles pick at fourteen are Gareon Conley from Ohio State and Marlon Humphrey from Alabama. While they are good prospects, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think they are good options at fourteen. Drafting Conley or Humphrey would be drafting for need instead of best player available, in my opinion. The Philadelphia Eagles should not draft a corner in the first round just for the sake of drafting a corner.

This year is a deep draft for cornerbacks, there is a lot of talent out there to be found in the mid to late rounds, it’s just a matter of finding them. Everyone knows the big names like Tre’Davious White, Teez Tabor, and Quincy Wilson. These guys have a late first-early second round feel to them. If the Eagles can find a way to get one of those guys at 43, they will be in good shape.

With all of that said, here are three prospects that Eagles Fans everywhere should become familiar with, as they are good mid-late round targets for the Birds. The guys mentioned earlier are top 50 guys, the next three guys I’ll discuss are lower on the rankings but could be difference makers in Jim Schwartz’ defense.
