4. The 10 Game Win Streak

Alright, so this happened in the calendar year of 2016.

From the 27th of November to December 14th, the Philadelphia Flyers did not lose a game. They were easily the best team in the NHL at the time and it showed in their play.

The streak included come-from-behind wins, a red-hot powerplay, and examples of promise for the young Philadelphia Flyers.

The streak showed what this team can eventually become with the incoming plethora of young players and mix of veterans. Now this roster is far from the final product that GM Ron Hextall is aiming for, but it is a roster that can compete at a high level in the NHL.

The streak also happened during a rough part of their schedule, and the Philadelphia Flyers managed to win out.

Remember the NHL 17 simulation of the season had the Philadelphia Flyers winning the Stanley Cup. If an NHL roster that has Andrew MacDonald on it and the team wins 10 games without losing, anything can happen.

The streak will have fans excited for the future of the Philadelphia Flyers and it was certainly an exciting moment of 2016.
