As the Philadelphia Flyers look forward to the new year, and hopefully another playoff birth, we will look back on 2016 and discuss the five best things that happened to the Philadelphia Flyers.

2016 was a year that the Philadelphia Flyers should be proud of. Even though the goal for every team in the NHL is to win the Stanley Cup, and the Flyers didn’t win it, they still had a good season.

We have narrowed down all the events of last season into the five that seemed most important to the Philadelphia Flyers. There are a lot of events that have been critical to the Philadelphia Flyers, on and off the ice.
