Darren Sproles was drafted in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft, the 130th overall pick. He is 33 years old and arguably the most explosive player on the Eagles roster. One of Chip Kelly’s better moves was trading a fourth rounder to New Orleans in exchange for the aging change of pace back/return specialist.

Since coming to Philadelphia back in 2014, Darren Sproles has given this city everything he can. Source: despite being one of the best return men in the league and tough matchup for defenses, he made the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2014 under Chip Kelly. He made it again the following year.

He is currently tied with Desean Jackson for most punt return touchdowns in Philadelphia Eagles history. They each have four.

This season Darren Sproles was recognized by ESPN as being the first player in NFL History to have 30 rushing touchdowns, 20 receiving touchdowns, 1 punt return touchdown, and 1 kick return touchdown.
