Dario Saric

Best Case Scenario: Danilo Gallinari

Worst Case Scenario: Jeff Green

The Philadelphia 76ers will finally get their 2014 picks on the court this season. Dario Saric will be coming over this season and will bring excitement to the fanbase of the Philadelphia 76ers. Saric has improved into a dangerous inside out offensive presence, while also becoming more able on the defensive part of the game.

If he can continuously improve his offense, then Danilo Gallinari could be a realistic expectation. Gallinari is one of the most dangerous scorers from the wing position and can control the game with his scoring outbursts. Saric turning into Gallinari will turn the Philadelphia 76ers roster into one of the most dangerous offenses in the game.

If Saric fails to become the consistent scorer Gallinari is, then look for late-career Jeff Green as an indicator to the floor he has. Jeff Green is still a versatile forward who can play both small forward and power forward, much like Saric, and is still a decent scorer. Green isn’t an impactful player however at this point in his career, and it would be disappointing to see Saric not becoming a game-changing passer or scorer.

Saric’s ceiling is kind of high and his floor isn’t the lowest, but still not to a safe point. Saric can be the next second or third option on an offense, and a very good one at that. If not, he could be a regular bench player who gives marginal scoring, in what would be a disappointing wait for the Philadelphia 76ers.
