Veton Berisha – Forward – Greuther Fürth

Berisha started out in the Norwiegen Tippeligaen before making the swap to the 2. Bundesliga to join Fürth. The 22-year-old forward made 29 starts for them last year while netting eight goals. Berisha shows potential but he’s also been inconsistent as four of those goals came between two games that he netted braces in (which shows his talent). Berisha currently has two years remaining on his contract so it may take a bit to pry him away but it could be done.

Coming from the 2. Bundesliga to MLS should be an easy transition for Berisha and the Union would be wise to pick him up because he has room to improve. He has  a poacher style which could fit in well with Ilsinho finding his form (two assists versus NYRB) as well as the strength that would be in the midfield around him.

While Berisha is a bit of an unknown he could help the Philadelphia Union at a position of need and may prove to be a worthwhile signing. With the right coaching, he could become a true danger in MLS.
