Mike Conley, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

The Sixers are in dire need of a point guard, and Mike Conley is probably the best one available this offseason. The 28 year old has nine seasons in the NBA under his belt and plenty of playoff experience during that time.

His season ended early last season as he dealt with an achilles injury, but he finished shooting 36 percent from three and an overall field goal percentage of 42 while averaging 15.3 points per game and 6.1 assists per game.

Though Conley might prefer to stay in Memphis, he will garner interest from countless teams and most likely reach a max deal somewhere. A playmaker and a scorer, Mike Conley is exactly what the 76ers need in their back court.

Matthew Dellavedova, PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

If the Sixers can’t get Mike Conley, I’d still be pretty excited if they were able to pick up Delly. His numbers aren’t anything to write home about, but he’s been a solid backup to Kyrie Irving. When Irving went down in last years finals, Dellavedova filled in nicely while showcasing his pesky defense.

I mean that right there is peak Delly. Up by 30+ points in the second quarter, and he’s still annoying the crap out of Kyle Lowry.

Dellavedova’s Australian background also of course connects him to head coach Brett Brown.

He would fit in well in Philadelphia as a starter until there is a better answer at point guard, but until then, Matthew Dellavedova can provide some relief at the one.

Nicolas Batum, SF/SG, Charlotte Hornets

Nicolas Batum provides versatility on the wings. He has a knack for creating plays, averaging 5.8 dimes per game last season in Charlotte in addition to his 14.9 points per game.

He has a 7′-4″ (!!!) wingspan and skill set that covers pretty much everything. His size and handles allow him to not only shoot well, but drive to the rim, dish, and defend. Another veteran of the NBA, Batum can contribute more wisdom to a young Sixers squad as well as his on the court talents.

Batum will be most likely receiving big time offers, and the Sixers could be in the mix for the dynamic wing scorer.

Evan Fournier, SG/SF, Orlando Magic

Evan Fournier shot 40 percent from three last season with Orlando, and at only 23 years old, he has a long career in the NBA in front of him. Shooters are extremely valuable in today’s day and age, and the Sixers need all of the shooters they can get.

Last season Fournier averaged 15.4 points per game on shooting a field goal percentage of 46. He doesn’t turn the ball over very often either, which is essential to the Sixers, who were behind only the Phoenix Suns for most turnovers per game.

D.J. Augustin, PG, Denver Nuggets

A career journeyman in the NBA, Augustin has never consistently started throughout his seven years in the league. He has played for seven different teams so far and will be looking for another one.

His career averages are 9.8 points and four assists per game, and he could battle with Ish Smith for the starting job if the Sixers are unable to add any more talent at the point guard position.

The Sixers are going to have to overpay in order to appeal to most free agents, but   have plenty of money to do so. With a team built mostly through the draft, the addition of free agents is a new but necessary step towards becoming relevant again.
