The Philadelphia Phillies broke their seven-game losing streak yesterday by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers, but it doesn’t mean that they are out of the woods just yet.

As we reach the 1/3rd mark of the season, the Philadelphia Phillies have fallen back to 27-28 to sit in fourth place in the NL East. They are six games off the pace for first in the division. While this is around where the Phillies were expected to be it’s disappointing because of the early success that they enjoyed.

With each passing day, the Phillies are looking more and more like sellers in the trade market which leads us to ask the question of who’s most marketable in a trade for the Phillies. As they’ve continued their rebuild there are fewer people on bad contracts or one year deals this year than in years past.

If the Philadelphia Phillies play trade market right they could greatly increase the depth within their farm system. While their farm system is currently ranked seventh in all of the majors, you can never have too many prospects. Things can change quickly with prospects reaching the majors, getting injuries, or getting traded.

These rankings will be done taking each players age, contract status, impact on the team, and performance to date into account. Some players even though we want to trade them (Ryan Howard) have no trade value and therefore will be omitted from these rankings. Yes, they will be given in order. So without further ado let’s get started!
