Roy Halladay

It’s hard to leave a guy who threw a perfect game in the regular season and a no-hitter in that same postseason. The Phillies made the move to bring in Halladay to regain a World Series they won in 2008, then lost in 2009. Halladay one 21 games in his first season with the Phillies, and over his 4 years with the team compiled the 2nd best Win-Loss % in franchise history. Being with the Phillies for such a short time keeps him off the list, but Halladay’s dominance will forever be remembered by Phillies fans.

Curt Schilling

As much as Phillies fans forever smite Schilling, the fact is he was one of the most dominant pitcher to walk through this organization. As the video above shows, Schilling was able to break the single season record for strikeouts and also ranks 5th in Phillies career history. Schilling was selected as a three time All-Star while wearing Phillies red, but some of his stats with the Phillies keep him out of the top 5. Plus, he’s Philly’s most hated, so we can’t put him on the list.

Still, the team recognized Schilling’s greatness as a Phillie and put him on the Phillies Wall Of Fame in 2013.
