Philadelphia Eagles 2016 Schedule Released: Preview & Predictions
Week Three: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Sunday, September 25, 4:25 PM (CBS)
History: Eagles lead all time series 47-28-3; Last Meeting: (2012) 16-14 Steelers
For the first time in eight years, the Keystone State Rivalry comes back to Philadelphia as the Steelers come to face off against the Eagles in week three.
Story lines
Coming off a 10-6 season, the Steelers will hopefully, have a full healthy season of arguably the best running back in the league, Le’Veon Bell. The three headed monster of Ben Roethlisberger, Bell and WR Antonio Brown is one of, if not the best QB-RB-WR tandem in the league.
And after a loss in the Divisional Round to the Denver Broncos, the Steelers should be a healthier team then they were, especially in week three.
Prediction: LOSS (2-1)
I think the Steelers will be too much for the Eagles, yes, the defense is much improved, but there still isn’t a corner back on the roster who will be able to stick Antonio Brown.
The Steelers will win their first game in Philadelphia since 1965.
