Week Fourteen: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday, December 11, 1:00 PM (FOX)

History: Redskins lead all time series 84-73-5; Last Two Meetings: (2015) 23-20 Redskins 38-24 Redskins

The second meeting of the year, the Eagles take on Washington at home in what is the beginning of the second go around for divisional games.

Story lines

After coming off three straight losses, can the Eagles get back in the winning column? That would the biggest question I would have if that outcome stays true. We will also get a clear picture on the type of coach Doug Pederson is and how he will rebound his team after a tough stretch.

Barring any unforeseen changes, it seems the Eagles are a lock to pick North Dakota Sate QB Carson Wentz with the number 2 overall pick. I don’t see Wentz playing at all this year as I think it would be better for Wentz to sit the year and learn the offense under Sam Bardford and Chase Daniel. But, if Bradford is playing poorly by this game, I could see a change in which the rookie QB will be the starting QB coming into this game.

Look for the match up of the game to be the Eagles WR corp against the highly touted and newly acquired Redskin CB Josh Norman

Prediction: LOSS (5-8)

Unfortunately, I see the Eagles dropping both games in 2016 to Washington. I just don’t see anything on the offense clicking, especially coming off that brutal three game stretch.
