Tim Tebow
First Drive
- Tebow started his fourth quarter performance, in what was essentially a small victory tour, by completing a 45-yard pass to Freddie Martino. Was it a great pass? No, but he looked through his progressions and made a good enough pass to complete it during the pre-season. Not that he’s even close to being as good as either of them, but Nick Foles and Mark Sanchez made similar or worse throws than that a season ago.
- Tebow also would complete a 13-yard pass to Pratt on the drive, one that he had a ton of time for, but still made a good throw.
- The drive ended when Tebow tried to force a pass into double coverage that was intercepted by Darrin Walls, his second pick of the game.
Second Drive
- This drive featured a six-yard carry from Tebow, and another connection with Rahseed Bailey, who has been a star in pre-season.
- The drive was capped off with a touchdown pass to Martino, who was wide open in the back of the end-zone. It was a great catch and the right decision to throw it by Tebow, but I can’t bring myself to call that a great throw because it really wasn’t.
