Oklahoma. Dorial Green-Beckham. 18. player. 124. There might not be another team in the NFL that could provide an environment conducive to success for mercurial receiver Dorial Green-Beckham than the Chiefs. The former number one high school recruit originally committed to Missouri before off-the-field issues brought an abrupt end to a promising on-the-field career. Like Marcus Peters, though perhaps with even more baggage, Green-Beckham is an extraordinary talent who would likely be a top-five pick if he just went about his business. Unfortunately, that was not the case for DGB. Still, when going through the boxes to check off that would make Kansas City a logical fit, it almost makes too much sense. Andy Reid is as respected a coach as there is in the NFL and is no stranger to dealing with different attitudes. The Chiefs play in Green-Beckham’s home state of Missouri. Recently acquired Jeremy Maclin attended Missouri and is one of the most consummate professionals in the league. Maclin would be an ideal mentor for Green-Beckham. If the Chiefs are able to harness Green-Beckham’s gifts and put his off-the-field issues in the rear-view, this could be one of the steals of the draft. Would more than make up for the notion that Kansas City overpaid for Maclin.. Wide Receiver
