11. player. 60. Minnesota could end up getting one of the best players in the draft with their first round selection should they decide to take dismissed Washington cornerback Marcus Peters. Head coach Mike Zimmer worked with Adam Jones in Cincinnati, so he’s no stranger to having to deal with defensive backs with some off the field issues. Peters has been lauded as the best corner in the draft and the only thing pushing him down boards is the perception that he is a handful to deal with. Peters will form a tandem with former first round pick Xavier Rhodes to hopefully solidify the Minnesota secondary for years to come. Toss in promising pass-rusher Anthony Barr, who the Vikings took in last year’s draft, and Minnesota quietly has put together one of the most promising young defenses in the league. Given the fact that they’ll face Matt Stafford and Aaron Rodgers twice a year, they need all the help they can get.. Cornerback. Washington. Marcus Peters
