Regardless of what the Cowboys try to do, the Eagles need to commit to the run and play their game

While numerous factors have gone into the offense taking a slight step back in 2014, the Eagles still have one of the best offenses in the entire NFL. It’s hard with the way that the Cowboys offensive line is playing right now to argue that they have a better offense than the Cowboys, but there shouldn’t–and won’t–be any shyness from Chip Kelly.

If there was ever a game that the Eagles should establish the running-game with all three of their backs early, this would be it. That said, if the Eagles are going to beat a very good Cowboys team, Mark Sanchez will have to make some throws. Expect a return of the screen game, as the Eagles try to utilize Darren Sproles and LeSean McCoy through the air, and limit the chances of Mark Sanchez turning the ball over.

Regardless of how they do it, the Eagles need to have an effective day offensively and try to avoid letting the Cowboys drain the clock, because not getting enough touches is the kryptonite to a fast-paced, potentially lethal offense.
