Don’t get in an early hole

In the video (which you can watch below), I highlighted how if the Eagles do get in an early hole, the Cowboys will likely try to drain the clock by using a heavy dosage of DeMarco Murray (and Lane Dunbar/Joseph Randle). If that scenario unfolds, I don’t like the Eagles to be able to slow down the Cowboys second ranked rushing attack consistently enough to even give the offense a chance to get back in the game.

Beyond that, while I like to think that I’ve kept Mark Sanchez’s inconsistent performance in fair perspective, I don’t like the idea of trying to overcome a 10 or 14 point lead on his arm. I also don’t like the idea of Friday morning having to respond to tweets, texts and e-mails about how “the buttfumble is back” after the Eagles got blown out trying to come back behind Sanchez.
