After Tony Romo–with all-world offensive protection–led a game-winning drive against the Giants that culminated with a Dez Bryant touchdown in the back of the endzone, the Cowboys pulled to an even 8-3 record with the Eagles. Due to the fact that the Eagles are 2-0 in the division and the Cowboys are 2-1, the Eagles are technically the division leaders, but two showdowns in the next three weeks will go a long way in determining which of the two ultimately comes out on top in the NFC East this year.

The first showdown, this Thursday (Thanksgiving), will be played in Dallas. And for as vulnerable as the Giants made the Cowboys look defensively, their final drive didn’t ease my nerves heading into the game. I think the Cowboys are going to win, behind what may very well be the most complete offense in the entire league. For my prediction not to come true and ruin your holiday, the Eagles will need to do these five things.
